Matthew 22:37-39
37 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
About
What we believe
1. Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory. (1 Timothy 3:16)
2. Manifesting the Presence of God: Exalting and enjoying the presence of God is our passion as a church. We believe that there is a presence of God available to His people while following the pattern of worship based on the book of Psalms. (Psalms 22:3)
3. Activity of the Holy Spirit: Both in the church and in our personal lives, we welcome the moving of the Holy Spirit. The baptism in the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit are part of our basic belief system. (1st Corinthians 12-14)
4. Spontaneous and Dynamic Praise and Worship: The believer's response to God's presence can be freely expressed through clapping, singing, dancing, raising hands, and singing new songs never heard before to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:18-19)
5. The Family: We express this commitment with a strong emphasis on the family through preaching, teaching, counseling, and different ministries and activities for all ages. (Ephesians 5:22 - 6:4)
6. The Holiness of God: Holiness is not something external expressed through legalism, but a true internal cleansing of the believer through the power of the Holy Spirit as evidence of Christian character and conduct. The fruit is easily recognized. (Hebrews 12:14)
7. Prayer and Fasting: This principle of prayer and fasting we believe is the engine or source of power for the life of the church. Prayer and fasting, both individual and corporal, are basic for every believer. (2 Chronicles 7:14; James 5:16)
8. Excellence: We believe that God deserves the best that we can offer him; that is why we seek to maintain a high degree of excellence in everything we do that is connected to the work of God. (Exodus 31:1-3)
9. Interpersonal Relationships: Loving one another and developing ourselves in God's purposes for our lives is our goal, we try to make this practical through the different activities of the congregation, where each believer is developed and encouraged to find the plan of God for your life. (Acts 2:46)
10. Integrity: There is no substitute for good character. We hold this value in very high regard and filter all other values through it. Verticality, trust and transparency are our best fundamental stones. (2 Timothy 2:2; Titus 1:6)
11. Evangelism: We have been called to be the salt and light of the earth in the culture in which we live. We have been called to preach the gospel first in our city, and then to all the nations of the earth. The political, educational and social areas must be penetrated by the Spirit of God and his Word. (Matthew 5:13-14; 28:19-20)
12. The Principle of Unity: Not uniformity but unity of spirit and principle. Unity can be expressed in a variety of ways while maintaining the same principles and convictions to walk together and achieve our vision. (John 17:21)
